Projector installation charges depend on the mounting surface, access, cable distance, projector type and the level of setup required. There is no verified flat installation tariff that suits every SLV project; request an itemised scope for your room.
01Separate the equipment and installation lines
A quote should identify the projector, screen, bracket, cable type and length, containment, electrical work, labour, transport and taxes. Check whether replacing an existing mount or removing old equipment is included.
02What makes one installation more involved?
A structural ceiling fixing differs from a false-ceiling installation with a new support. Long HDMI runs, high ceilings, inaccessible conduit and a separate equipment rack can increase work.
UST alignment can require a rigid cabinet and a very flat, compatible screen. Do not compare that scope directly with placing a portable projector on a table.
03Ask what setup means
Basic alignment and focus, source/AVR configuration and instrument-based colour calibration are different deliverables. Agree on the test method and operating walkthrough before accepting the estimate.
Send the projector model, proposed screen diagonal, lens-to-screen distance, ceiling photographs and cable-route length for a more useful quote.
